_Create visual and narrative representations of the Partnership
_Design a Partnership identity strategy (logo, statements, slogans)
_Design information and Partnership materials for targeted groups, including the media
_Create an event/exhibit display about the Decade that can be used by Partners

Marketing action team has delineated its purposes as follows:

1. Promoting the decade and education for sustainable development
2. Serving as a resource base for the partners
3. Promoting what the sector teams are doing
4. Acting as catalysts, conveners, and community builders

The marketing action team with Lucy Blackwell’s Upside Down It design studio has designed a logo, letterhead, brochure and banner for U.S. Partnership use. The banner and a downloadable PowerPoint are available on the Partnership website.

The marketing action team has also met with a team of experts about how to affectively market and communicate sustainable development. The team will be working with partners to analyze the gaps in market research and facilitate filling in those gaps and then disseminating this information.

In addition, the marketing action team continues to collect the success stories from the partners.
